GA HRS SANCTUARY RABBITS October 2010

LIZA, - approx. 10 years old  (Sanctuary)

Liza is about 10 years old and has cataracts. She is a little nervous about being picked up, but once in your arms, she is a bundle of love. She sits patiently for her eye medication to keep her cataracts in check and visits the eye vet every few months for a check up. She is in sanctuary with me for the remainder of her life.

TIA (Dutch) and TANGO (they were Dutchy and Smudge) They are still available, but I'm happy to have them in sanctuary.

These two sweet and shy rabbits are approximately six years old. Tango is particularly shy, but he warms up once you hold him. Tia is more outgoing. They get along well together aInd stay pretty much to themselves.

INDY AND ISABELLE (were Pitter and Patter) These two are considered sanctuary.

Indy and Isabelle (Izzy) are a devoted couple. Indy is gray and white and smaller than his brown and white partner. They are about eight years of age and are perfectly content in their own space. They love their veggies and are pretty good hay eaters. Indy has a sneezing issue, but he does not currently require any medication. We check him out at the vet periodically to get ahead of any change in his status. If he shows any other signs of problems, we'll be in top of it. In the meantime, he and Isabelle are a happy pair.

MILO - Lionhead (I've adopted him, so he's not available)
Milo is about two and a half years old and I'm adopting him. He is a pure delight, gets along well with most of my rabbits and is a happy guy. He doesn't mind being held and will fall asleep in my lap if I can keep up with stroking his head. He hates being caged and becomes rather aggressive when hands come near him, but he can run pretty much free in my home and shows no signs of aggression when out and about. My cat gets along fine with him, although Milo prefers to just stay out of her way.

This is why I don't do fosters:  I fall in love!
